Hi guys,
I've been following the forum here for quite a while and have improved my sc greatly during the past few weeks......thanks for that.
I struggled with SC majorly earlier on however, it's much better now.
I need some help with this ONE topic which I havent been able to grasp from anywhere!!!! and its rather annoying to see explainations for SC questions which mention the same.
Just exactly what are the rules for CLAUSES & PHRASES! I know the definitions.....but how do the rules apply? ....
for example.....I read this here..
(C) When referring to the current hostility toward smoking, smokers frequently express anxiety about
about is wrong because it is the clause after it. so u can't use about. only that is correct.
What do I need to watch out for when it comes to clauses and phrases!!
Pls help.....
