i have taken GMAT on 16 August-and scored 640 (V28,Q49).
i am an Indian Resident .
are there any chances to get admission in good graduation program.
I am flexible with the courses- i don't want to get into very technical course.
so i have figured some course that i can opt .
course such as- MIM, MBA , MS in supply chain .
it would be helpful for me if i get some idea whether there are chances to get into good School.
My profile:
score:640(V28,Q49)
graduation CGPA: 8
12 class: 88.2% percentage
10 class: 84 %
work ex: 2 years
extra curricular: neither too active nor too inactive
publication: one survey paper published in IEEE.
i am willing to know the other courses that could fit me.
and some good university.
if i go for abroad , then i have to TOFEL/IELETs as well .
and till now i haven't started any documentation work .
So shall i for application work or retake gmat exam and try to get higher score.

What is your Post Course goal? where do you want to study? 640 is not a bad score, you can apply to top 100 B-schools MBA/MIM/MS programmes with this score.

It all depends on what rank you want to aim for in terms of schools. As an Indian male you are coming from a very tough demographic when it comes to business-related grad degree applicants & it's also a demographic that tends to have very high GMAT scores. Given that, I'd aim for programs where you are ~20-30 points above their average GMAT in order to be competitive. You'll also need to hone in on some post-grad career goals since your whole basis for why you need this grad degree hinges on those & the skill gaps you say you need to fill to get there. It's definitely not just about stats.
