Re: Need Suggestion On my GMAT Preparation [#permalink]
Hi, I took the entire CAT at a time including IR and essay, I didn't skip any question and didn't pause and didn't took a long break and I started sharply at 8 am in the morning as I have booked my GMAT appointment at 8 a.m. I started preparation from October but was only following official guides and I was not happy with my verbal preparation and by the time I had finished my quantitative portion so I took a break for 2 weeks and ordered MGMT entire guide as I am following GMAT club and most of them have recommended to follow this study guide and then I started my preparation again from November. I am worried about sentence correction as in both of my mock test I got maximum wrong in this section. Thanks Janielle for your answers it is really helpful for me and I have just created an error log and I will surely follow that study plan. Hi Richa, I have taken these two mock tests and the answers I got wrong in quant was 4 for both the mock tests. 2 from DS and 2 from PS and those were calculation mistake. IR am yet to start so that was the first time I was solving IR most of the questions were wrong as they needed all three answers to be correct and I was missing one correct answers. In verbal total 10 questions were wrong 6 from sentence correction and 2 from both rc and cr in official CAT. And I think at least in quant I could have solved all correctly
and in verbal I could have solved 4 correctly which I have gotten wrong.

Hi Ad90,

It sounds like you've taken these CATs in a fairly realistic way, so these scores are likely accurate. There are still plenty of details that you have to account for on Test Day, but you seem to be a strong Test Taker, so I suspect you would score well on the GMAT (if you took it today, for example). Given all of these, and your practice CAT scores, have you considered taking the GMAT earlier than February? You might be able to hit your goals and be done without having to invest the extra 1-2 months of study time.
