Hello Club, I need some suggestions.
Took the GMAT last year and scored not up to par (610, 31V, 42Q). After a long break away from the exam, it's time to kick it in gear again but I have some questions to ask first.
Obviously Verbal really hurt me big time. English is my native language but you wouldn't know it from that score. SC always seemed to be my weak spot so I now have the Manhattan SC guide for that. Good enough to improve 10+ points?
Also, it seems the Club Tests are really recommended so I paid for access to those too. However, although I did fairly decent with Q, I have always felt that my fundamentals with the basics were always a bit shaky. Do the Tests help build up the fundamentals in Q? I don't use math much in my daily routines beyond the usual stuff and it's been a long time since my days of algebra and geometry. Oh, and number properties seem to be weak too. Is the Manhattan Number properties book (and the other Q books for that matter) something I should get?
I'll leave it that for now before making a super long post. Thanks in advance!

I you haven't already, get the OG11. Do and understand all 800 problems as well as the diagnostic test in the front of the book. Also, get access to some full length CATs like PowerPrep and GMATPrep, both of which are free. Start doing these tests to get used to the types and difficulties of questions as well as the pacing and endurance. That would be a good start for now. If you want to see how I studied, check out my story for some more tips. I also received a score similar to yours on my first and second attempts but was able to drastically improve my score on my third and final try.

Q books by Manhattan GMAT are excellent. Add to it the club tests you already have subscribed to, dude you will be a Q killer in no time.
SC MGMAT book is great but you need to suppliment it with some notes. Search for Spidey's /Gayathri notes on Esnips.com and participate in the verbal forum actively.
