I m a recent bachelors graduate of 2024 in cse and trying to apply for Mfin, Mim, Mem type of programs and seems my profile is overall very good
I have good gpa, internships with goldman sachs, 2 international research internships in Taiwan, finance internship in startup
I have 6 research publication in jounal and conferences along with 2 national patents
I have good extracurriculars too with verifiable results in terms of community volunteer ncc air pilot, plantation volunteer over 1000 trees and other stufff
Most importantly during my college I have built a business from scratch generating over 1 cr INR (~120K USD) in revenue and 30% profit completely bootstrapped
The only problem is GMAT/GRE
I gave gre 1 month ago got a 308 !! devastated ( Mocks I was getting 318-320)
Shifted to Gmat (Now in total i have given 7-8 mocks and my scores are 535-595-605-685-680-605-565)
I dont know whats happening and some where i feel these 685-680 came by chance
Quant I m usually getting Q86-Q90 but the problem is verbal and DI
Verbal I have tried multiple strategies but still whenever i give mock in timed manner I just always dont stick to fastly eliminate options like from intuition and which often gets wrong similar with passages as well
Now it almost january and most programs that i want to apply have round 2 deadlines in the first week of jan
Now 1 side i think to wait for round 3 deadlines and prepare more to get 650-700ish score
but at the other hand i researched and saw its verry very hard to get into round 3 for an indian as an international student
second thought come to give gmat right in 3-4 days but then i m not confident about that score
Now all these things are really giving me too much stress and I dont know what to do can you please help

Hey! Try to calm down GMAT can be a beast sometimes, Instead of attempting mock by mock and getting done with the GMAT as soon as possible, it'll be more helpful if you sit down with a mock you've attempted and try to figure out your weak areas and push hard to develop the relevant skillset. It won't matter much if you apply in the next admission cycle, but attempting and applying unprepared will cost you a ton of time and money.
You can also look up among the numerous study programs available on the platform and choose one that fits your timelines.

Although I may not have the full story here, from what you have described, it appears that you are focused on taking practice test after practice test without any real learning in between. That said, I a great way for you to move forward with your prep and to truly improve your skills is by engaging in topical practice.
For example, let’s say you want to practice Number Properties. You can do so by answering 50 or more questions just from Number Properties: LCM, GCF, units digit patterns, divisibility, remainders, etc.
After each problem set, it's crucial to delve into the questions you answered incorrectly.
For instance, if you stumbled on a remainder question, take a moment to reflect. Was it a careless error? Did you fail to apply the remainder formula correctly? Was there a concept in the question that eluded you? This analysis is key to your learning process.
By carefully analyzing your mistakes, you will be able to fix your weaknesses efficiently and, in turn, improve your GMAT quant skills. Number Properties is just one example; follow this process for all quant, verbal, and DI topics.
