GMATNinja abhimahna
or anybody who can help
this my second time with gmat (gmat1-630 v33 q44)
i have been studying for gmat for last six months and i have given 3 gmatprep tests (my quant is showing progress q44-46-49)
i am certain that i know almost all the sc rules
have worked with cr and rc too
done with manhattan books
cr bible
egmat
everything in og probably twice
i read all your posts regarding going from v30 to v40
almost follow everything written there
still
i find it really difficult to complete the test on time (have to pause and solve the last ten questions-- i do so to find out if i can atleast solve them correctly)
i am constantly fluctuating between v34-v30-31
my cr was good last i gave gmat , but now it just seems that i lost all my critical reasoning power
sc- i only eliminate the wrong answers using the rule and then get to the answers( i donno what happens to me when i see sc on the test- i just start looking for flaws in the options and eliminating them )
rc- i am still a amateur here , reading it very slowly understanding everything and then going to the questions and still getting it wrong
i have my exam in two weeks
and i really need to get 750
really need to break the v40 barrier
i am ready to put 20 hours a day but really dont know how
what strategy
what am i doing wrong
how do i do it
please tell me there is still hope
there is something somehow i can fix this
or should i just be happy with higher 600s and missing the 700 mark by a little

Hi Psk13,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) When did you take the Official GMAT?
2) How have you scored on EACH of your CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
3) Did you take the FULL CAT each time (with the Essay and IR sections)?

Goals:
4) Is your actual goal score the high-600s or a 750?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
6) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
