Hey, I'm new to this site so I formally apologize if I ask any stupid or absurd questions, but recently I have become incredibly Interested in earning and MBA and have been looking into my possible options in obtaining it. I go to a state-school in Pennsylvania and Major in Marketing & Economics. My question is I have always had terrible Math skills and only made it up to Advanced Algebra during high-school. I'm very worried that I can't retain some of my old arithmetic skills to help me succeed when I go to take the GMAT and I would like some quality advice on what books I should get to improve both my Verbal and Math skills. At this moment, I have the GMAT premiere 2012 to help me and I've made it 100 pages in and have some difficulty understanding the math that is presented to me. So I have three general questions, if anyone would be so delighted to answer them.
Firstly, Should I continue to major in Marketing and Economics in my Undergraduate studies?
Secondly, What are some options I could pursue to help increase my knowledge in math and verbal skills with respect to certain books?
Lastly, What are some good schools to apply to for the MBA program and what are some of the "tips" on getting into these schools?
Thank you very much,
-Tony
