Hi guys,
I have not yet tried GMAT Prep but my question is different.
i have Kaplan Premier 2007 and Kaplan 800 as well as Kaplan Verbal workbook, noticed that verbal workbook repeats the same thing that Kaplan 800 has. annoying!
before discovering, i was about to buy Kaplan math workbook. since i have Kaplan premier and Kaplan 800 i should be fine with math.
now i need an ideal math workbook other than Kaplan. what do you recom te best to invest. Princeton, Veritas, Barrons or any others, i have a long way until i take my gmat, so i will take my time and prepare for it.
Thanks
Get the Official Guides; you would be doing yourself a disservice if you don't use them.
Veritas is crap, IMHO. They either stole or bought the OG questions from GMAC. so unless you are going to enroll in the course, their workbooks are basically OG questions, with maybe some GRE and LSAT thrown in. They have a book called Project GMAT which highlights probability/permutations etc... very nicely though.
mgmat's books cover the concepts nicely, the questions in the books aren't challenging, but the online question banks are. you get CAT's included with the books as well... the math is tough, and the verbal seems 'off' but they are good cats
