Hello All,
I m a Accounting Professional (Non-CA) with 4.25 Years of Financial & Accounting BPO experience, which includes 3 Years of People Management exp.and approx. 8 months of International Work Conditions experience.
I intend to join classes for the fall'08 and have identified the following colleges in my Wish List:
- S. P Jain, Dubai
- AIM, Manila
- NUS, Singapore
- ISB, Hyderabad
- Judge College, Cambridge
Well, i quit my work on 14th Sept'07 after a 3 month's Notice, so that i could focus completely on my studying. Had planned this well in advance though.
Before i started my Studies, i took the Diagnostic Test from official GMAT Website and scored a 480. expected a score that much anyways..nevertheless...got into full swing for studying..and aimed at writing my gmat in last week of Oct....
My Accuracy Rates from OG10+OG11 were :
Quant : 91 % (Questions Solved 250)
DS : 82 % (Questions Solved 140)
CR : 78 % (Questions Solved 205)
SC : 71 % (Questions Solved 190)
RC : was supposed to start it this week..
Now getting to the root of the problem :
But as fate could have it, this monday had a severe Bike crash and am Bed-ridden cos of the Injuries and will be that way for atleast a week more.
I feel miserable cos
1. My whole plan has taken a whole U Turn, also, the whole purpose of quitting work doesnt seem to be in its place anymore and most importantly,
2. If i donot write that GMAT, then some of my College's deadlines(Mostly are 15th Nov) will be missed...and i will be left with fewer options, which will lead to fewer Converts and eventualy resulting in a Riskier Mud Path...
Now what i need is some suggestions from you, the experienced LOT, on the following :
- I havent booked my GMAT date as yet, so when do you suggest, i book it?
- When i started off, I actually planned to take close to 10 Mock Gmats, but that seems like a Distant dream now, but anyways, how many Mock's as per your respective exp. would help bring in the confidence to take on the actual GMAT?
- Do you suggest i get into coaching classes like Princeton/IMS/KAPLAN or should i just pour myself into OG's and Princeton's for the little time i am left with?
- Lastly, can anyone help me mentally formulate a Road-Map for Further preparation for my GMAT?(Experimental Question !!!?)
Sorry for the Elaborate email, blame it on the Drowsiness these Painkillers are imbibing into me
