Hi all,
I am fortunate enough to have been accepted into HBS and Booth. Got admit calls from both without any mention of fellowships. So i wanted to ask you guys: when does the scholarship negotiation begin? I am yet to submit initial tuition deposit at either school ($1000).
Do we get notified of scholarships after submitting the deposit - or does it happen immediately with the call? I've gone through all the 'negotiate scholarship' threads here but could not find the answer to the above. I hope to attend HBS but would like to minimise the amount of debt that I take on (by hopefully maximizing teh fellowship offered). So I have read all about leveraging scholarships but don't know when we get notified of them- to start negotiating with schools. (By negotiating, I mean politely requesting for more funding)
I am Asian and have lived off a low salary (when converted to $) - so i'm expecting major need based grants from HBS..
