Hello,
Hope this is the right place to post my question, if not please direct me to the right thread.
Im new and have been reading the forum for about 2 weeks now and gained some valuable information. My questions to the experts are:
I recently took a GMAT practice test via the one provided in the Kaplan '13 book. I scored a 500 and please note this is not a CAT:
1. How does the CAT score? I am confused as to the explanation mentioned in the book that says: it scores from 11-51 in both V and Q. When people write 40V/45Q, how do they come up with that? Can I get that in my paper based practice tests?
2. Since I scored a 500, I am planning on taking the GMAT on Dec 3rd. I need to score atleast a 620+ to get into a PhD program. Will these books be enough for my prep to score well:
These are the current books I have:
- GMAT offcial Guide
- Kaplan 2013 edition without Integrated reasoning portion
- Manhattan SC
Is there any additional books that I need to get a desired score of 620+ or will this suffice?
Thanks for any help that you guys can give me.
