We are introducing new posting rules to the Math Forums (General Forum, DS Subforum and the PS Subforum) that are aimed to reduce the number of short posts that often carry zero value.
As a part of this effort, we will have several changes and new policies:

We are introducing new posting rules to the Math Forums (General Forum, DS Subforum and the PS Subforum) that are aimed to reduce the number of short posts that often carry zero value.
As a part of this effort, we will have several changes and new policies:
- Please do NOT post short posts such as "A" or "+1" or "Thank you". Please consider using the Kudos button instead or using the timer, which will track your answer choice. If you want to be subscribed to the topic and that's the reason for your reply, please using the "subscribe topic" link
- Short posts will be flagged and users will be warned
- Starting today, Feb 1, 2012, the Forum will issue a warning to you (automatically) when you make a post that the forum considers too short or not valuable. You will be able to dismiss this warning but please keep in mind the next point.
- Regularly, we will have a robot go through the forums and delete posts that we have deemed too short or zero value
- We will also delete all posts made prior to Feb 1, 2012 (all the way from 2002) and will delete all those that are too short or have no value.

Hi,
A very good initiative it will save time for the readers. Just a suggestion you also avoid members to post the same thing again & again no matter in different form with the same conclusion.
As at many answers contain the same answers but in different ways resulting in n no. of posts for a single question / query.
