Hi All,
I am Joydeep Datta having a total experience of 5 years in IT having worked in HCL(4yrs) and now in CTS for more than a year.
I was always looking to get into the top B Schools in India but was never able to make it. Recently only I got to know about the 1year programs in India through GMAT.
Could you all please guide me how to start and what are the good colleges that offer these 1 year MBA programs in India. I want to go for the MBA ASAP as I am not happy with the current profile. Please guide

Hi Joydeep,
There are a variety of factors that go into selecting the Schools that you'll apply to. Here are some things to think about:
1) Is there a particular company that you want to work for or industry that you want to work in? Certain degrees are more appropriate than others if you have a specific career goal.
2) What do you want your MBA to do for you?
3) Do you want to go to School full-time or part-time?
4) Are you willing to relocate? Are you comfortable with working through a program that is primarily online?
5) Are you going to be applying for scholarships?
Etc.
It's okay if you don't have answers to any of these questions just yet. However, saying that you want to go to a 'good School' is not enough information to narrow down the possibilities. Earning an MBA requires a big investment of time, money and energy, so you really have to be clear about what specific MBA YOU want.

Once you've decided on the schools to which you'd like to apply, contact admissions in order to gain insight on the program requirements. Have you taken the GMAT or begun your GMAT studies?
