In broad sense it would come under algebra. But specifically it would come under coordinate geometry or linear equations

Hi , Can anyone please correct me , In weighted averages method of balancing, sometimes we are taking the ratio of the quantity and then flipping it , and sometimes we are taking the ratio of the difference from the total average and then flipping it. Please correct me :)
