I am sure you are working really hard for the GMAT, and I genuinely wish you all the best.

But GMAT is not about who reaches there first, I am 27 today, I started thinking about giving GMAT when I was 18 and naive and dumb. I didn’t even know the full form of GMAT. The only thing I knew was that my eldest brother gave the exam, studied, and now earning immense amounts of money and living his life in the U.S- that fact alone was enough to push me to do an MBA.

We all were at an age of uncertainty and fear. The good thing is now we are mature and know about things. Let’s pass it on, have fun and live and let live.

Cheers man!
thanks. i really appreciate you for helping me

I pesonally found Top 1percent the best in Verbal so far... And i have attended Princeton class prep, GMAT Whiz personal coaching and Top 1% self paced prep

I just started with the prep so I have researched a lot. Start with a mock to set the baseline. Then look at the syllabus and understand what the GMAT demands. I didn’t want to spend a lott so this is the strategy I decided:

- For Verbal and DI concept building, do GMAT ninja and then do as many practice questions as you can.
- DI (MSR, GSI) GMAT Club forums + official practice questions
- For Quant, do the GMAT Club Math book (for concept building), then do a lot of practice questions.
- Do practice questions from GMAT Official Guide, gmatclub.com section wise mocks, gmatclub.com discussion forum, mba.com (if time permits)
- Maintain error logs from practice questions and prepare them well
- Keep on doing mocks from mba.com (you need to spend here - most justified spend)

This is the strategy that I think would work best for me based on my target. You should also research what works best for you.
Other folks can please guide me if I am going in a wrong direction. Your feedback is much appreciated! 🙂

Hello! I want to start preparing for GMAT , and wanted some recommendations on which book/resource i should read first to build my foundation strong, I read that Manhattan books are good for RC, however few suggest GMAT OG books should be my savior for all 3 sections, there are plenty of other resources too, which one to use and when ? I am practicing RCs from Gmat club ,but I need to learn the techniques/ methods on how to solve certain type of RC’s, or Quant questions. :) Please help

If you have budget and time go for ttp

If not then go for egmat or gmat whiz

In my opinion don’t go for any books if you are not a book guy
Gmat club is a good resourse for practice

It has all the questions of og

Hi, how to approach the section order? I see a lot of mixed opinions around fe being section adaptive, interested to know new povs
Hi sintporro,

The GMAT is still a question-adaptive exam (it isn't section-adaptive like the GRE).

Also, even though performance in the first section affects the difficulty level of the first question of the second section, this is a relatively minor adjustment from the normal medium-difficulty starting point. Choose the section order that works for you, without worrying too much about how an earlier section may affect the starting point of the next section.

Thank you, any advice on how to go about working on weakness identified during the prep, i have identified behavioral and conceptual gaps and while i am working on behavioral actively for conceptual i am taking 10-15 question at a time from same concept to work on it but on a sectional mixed test i keep falling into same traps

Like for verbal, i had gaps in rc main point/tone of passage question, in cr i am lapsing on evaluating question

Should i keep narrow down approach for particular concepts or do more sectionals?

Hi guys,

I mainly use TTP as my main study source, but when I do OG questions, I notice they feel quite different. I find TTP a little easier, while the OG questions feel harder. What about you guys?

I’m basically starting from ground zero and working on building my foundation. Building that foundation is taking me a very long time, and I’m not even close to doing practice tests yet. I feel pretty stuck and just wanted to reach out to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. Been studying for 2 months straight but still only covered 15% of TTP content and even then feel like foundation is quite weak. Overall I just feel very struck with my process and feel very anxious.

I’d really appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
It happens with me
But in exam the questions came what you have prepared just like what you have prepared with ttp

Or if you give official mocks then also you will feel the same thing
