Has anyone successfully improved their GMAT Verbal score from the low 70s to 80+?
I seem to be stuck in the 70–80 range, and despite consistently practicing and trying different resources, I’m not seeing much improvement. I’m also struggling to identify a clear pattern in my mistakes—errors seem quite random.
Time management is another major issue. I often find myself with 4–5 questions remaining and only around 2 minutes left in the Verbal section, which leads to rushed guesses.
For those consistently scoring V80+, what do you think you’re doing differently in terms of preparation, approach, or time management? Any specific advice on breaking through this plateau would be greatly appreciated.
