It’s a fraction of the cost you will have to pay for the exam. You can also buy a used book if you have to. The PDF will not have any of the data insights questions besides the data sufficiency.
Data insights questions are only available as a part of the question bank and not published in the book because you cannot have drop-down or sortable tables in the book or PDF so you will basically get just the P.S., C.R, R.C. and D.S. from two years ago…
I encourage everyone to buy the official guide because the more people buy it the more incentive GMAC gets to publish questions. If you look at the GRE, barely any official questions compared to the GMAT.
