The Manhattan guide is quite succinct already, so basically no chapter is "optional". :) But fair to say that Assumption, Strengthen and Weaken are the most tested question types.

Hi, I attempted the first practice test on the official website a couple of days ago without any preparation and was able to score 715. I’m not sure if this was a fluke because from what I have searched online this seems to be a pretty good score. I’m pretty sure I made a couple of silly mistakes in QR and DI. My target school is ISB and the application deadline is in December so I have quite some time to improve. I was thinking of attempting the practice tests 2 but seeing that in total only 6 tests are available, should I give the test now or prepare for a month or so and then attempt it? Are there any other ways I can evaluate my score?

Congrats on solid mock score. People have often told here that actual FE test seems a bit tougher than 6 mocks they’ve taken. You can consider taking Experts’ Global/GMATClub mocks which have tougher DI/Quant sections of you feel more practice is needed. Else go for the kill. If you manage to score same or higher, you would have a chance to enhance your profile for improved selection chances.

Search on this topic here and on reddit. Not sure personally. No harm giving the exam straight away (don’t expect anything just as you did in your mock). You will get a feel of the actual test. Since there are no limits on attempts and you can take 5 attempts in a calendar year you can go all in..
