The GMAT preparation can be overwhelming in the beginning but with structured panning and study material things begin to fall in proper places. The official guides are the best course material available and the mocks from MBA.com . A new test-taker often gets confused with the 'n' number of resources available out there but it is extremely important to study only from the right material .e. the official guides to save efforts and time later !
The first step for any individual is to take up a free Mock-test available from MBA.com .Understand the type of questions and the pattern in the mock and decide the level of preparation needed henceforth. You must prepare a study plan and work on your conceptual knowledge for both Verbal and Quant . After taking up the mock, start solving the sectional questions from the Official guides and once you are done with that go ahead to give another mock from MBA.com itself. It is extremely important to analyze your mistakes while solving the questions from the guide. Check whether they are conceptual based mistakes or just silly mistakes and work on them accordingly. It is not the number of hours that is important but the quality of preparation that matters the most.
