Having worked in a large investment bank and seeing how the associate level people interact with prospective job applicants, I think that NYU gradutes and students are a tighter knit bunch. I just didn't see the same kind of camraderie coming from Booth or CBS people. So my two cents is Booth and CBS might have a better academic reputation and the students there might have more competitive profiles than NYU students. However, NYU has a stronger alumni network, simply because people are more willing to help out.
Also, I think if you go to Booth it will be harder to recuit for NYC finance jobs. A lot of people at Booth end up in Chicago. So where you want to work afterwards also matter.
