Thank you. I checked your account and it looks like the payment did not go through right away.
Did you have to authorize it? or approve it? It is odd that it started on the 17th and succeeded only 1 day later.

Thanks for letting me know. This is pretty strange behavior as it took over 24 hrs to process, and not sure how to handle it really 🥴
P.S. Did it deduct the money AFTER your trial expired or BEFORE?

It got deducted after.
More context if it helps: I was not able to use Quiz for one day (the day payment was processing) but according to my bank the payment was scheduled for the next day (when trial expired) and it got processed then

Thanks so much for your help.
I have learned something new… it is odd since the payment initiated right at the expiration (we don’t want to charge in case you cancel a minute before) but it seems there’s a delay with the banks… and in this case it was over 24 hour delay 🥴

PS. I have seen this for a few days now… but I am noticing this pattern only with banks in India, interesting enough.

No idea how to solve it 🤷‍♂️

Hi,

I have paid for GMAT Quiz and it was working fine in the trial period but today the trial got expired and its asking me to pay and I can't access the quiz. When I tried to pay the pop-up says I already have an active subscription for the product.

Can someone please help

This is due to Indian cards subscription regulations. Check your email and junk for any messages from Stripe.

However, what we have learned is that the system has made a request to your bank bank the bank did not reply with a positive or negative message. Rather it just said “waiting”. As soon as the payment clears, your subscription will be enabled or as soon as the payment is declined, your subscription will be canceled but because bank and India’s regulations, for the next 24 hours from the moment of request, your subscription is suspended suspended state.

Yes on its own. As you said the subscription amount was not released from the bank (I checked in my account).
So I think just waiting for the transaction to go through should be good. I did not have to do anything else.

PS. Usually this issue happens with Indian bank cards because they take a long time to approve the transaction and they refuse to decline it or approve it and it sits for some unknown reason for a day and sometimes for two days.

Not sure how to solve this unfortunately. 😬
