Do Business schools really have no class on Fridays?
I am matriculating in a month and did not even realize that we don't have class every day. Is this true across the board??

It depends on the format of the program.

1 year is bit more intense and has classes morning to evening from mon to fri. But a 2 year maybe more relaxed. Also, the work load is more when you're doing core courses. Once the core curriculum is over the electives decide your schedule. I had a term during which I only had 2 classes in a week.

2 classes a week? were you in 2 classes that term and each met once a week?
Are there that many projects where you are still busy or was it a an easy term for you?

what I mean is 2 classes for 1 course per week. But thats just because I had other terms where I was super busy. MBA courses are very flexible and you can choose your schedule accordingly.

That's nothing to fear- there is tonnes to do in business school and you will always be hard pressed for time- the extra day off will be well utilized in assignments , team projects, club activities and organizing events. Typically b-schoolers face the problem of the plenty. At any given point people have so many options to get involved that if you are not organized about it your life can go totally hay-wire. And there is FOMO- the fear of missing out, which can cause further havoc.

Since there is just a month left to join, you should start exploring the various extra curricular activities you wish to be involved in so that you are able to best make use of your time one you are on campus.
