perfectly said by BB above. I took my diagnostic test today and I got to know where I stand. Now I know where to focus on!

Just take it. doesn't matter if you get a low score. If you get a good score, it will boost your confidence level.

you are planning on med and business school and you are worried about diagnostic test? haha relax, you'll be fine. It is a motivator if you score low or a confidence booster if you score high. You probably have the logical ability to do well on the exam (which in my opinion is the true test) so this will show you where to brush up on concepts.

As others have mentioned, a diagnostic test would help you gauge where you're at right now. Having said that, let me know reassure you something - MCAT is way harder than GMAT (personal opinion that I believe can be vouched by most everyone). I've taken the MCAT once before and I have to say, compared to the MCAT, GMAT is a piece of cake. So if you're able to withstand the MCAT, take a quick diag and see how you do on the GMAT; you never know, you just might save yourself some bucks if you know where your weaknesses are at.
