The real question is what if you are being forced to join because if you don't you will forfeit the amount deposited .are there others on the club who went through this ?

I guess I would ask you whether you really wanted to attend the school. I would hope and expect that if COVID-19 lockdowns were to extend into the fall semester, the school would provide an online learning platform for students to pursue their studies safely. Your best insight into the probable reaction of the school at that point is to see what the school is doing now, in the thick of the crisis. If you deem its current response inadequate, then you might think twice before going there to attend classes and paying thousands more to do so.
