Hi Lizardking.

You can improve a lot in 55 days. In fact, as we can see, you improved significantly in quant in a month.

You said that you have been practicing using questions from OG 22. What else have you been doing to prepare? Have you been learning concepts and strategies anywhere? You'll increase your score much faster if you learn concepts and strategies before you practice rather than simply learn by practicing.

Since your major task at this point is to improve in verbal, you may find this post helpful.

How to Score High on GMAT Verbal

Also, you may be able to accelerate your progress by practicing as outlined in this post.

The Best GMAT Practice Methods

Hi Mr. Murray,

Thank you for your reply.

For quants I have not been referring to any strategy book or guide and practicing questions from official sources. For verbal I went through the GMAT Club grammar book and a bunch of (Khan Academy) videos on YouTube to understand the Grammar jargons.

Initially my plan was to go through "Foundations of verbal" by Manhattan and then move on to "All the verbal" by the same publisher but now due to paucity of time, I am only practicing questions from gmatclub. My accuracy also improved in verbal but the score in the test decreased by 5 marks.

Seeing my performance, I think I will have to go through these books. Any other advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards,
Lizardking
I think you do need to learn some concepts and strategies somewhere. Otherwise, you'll be forced to figure everything out, basically reinventing the wheel.

Have suggested Manhattan-Prep's 6th Edition for Sentence Correction and Critical Reasoning to students. In case you're interested to work with a study buddy, there is a discord link on the GMAT Knight blog. Perhaps you find someone with strong Verbal skills who you can teach Quant in exchange.
