Took my first practice test 4 weeks ago. Got a terrible 580. Due mostly to quant: 35Q (44%) 34V (72%)
Took my second practice test today. Got a 630. 35Q (44%) 40V (91%).
My quant hasn't changed!! So frustrating. I was wondering if anybody has had experience with this. Quant is definitely not my strong suit but I'm starting to feel ridiculous by how bad I am at it. Oh, and I should mention, I"M TAKING A CLASS!!!! How bad is that? I'm taking a freaking class and I still haven't improved!!
Please, some advice and perspective. My goal is 700.

Do you know the fundamentals? I mean do you REALLY know them? Because having some kind of idea of how to solve a problem and knowing the direct approach are two different things.
I was in same sutuatiin as you - doing math and notimproving quant scores. Only when I started to thoroughly revise every single page of mgmat guides I managed to get from 39 to 47 in a month of really hard work.
Be sure to learn or revise all the fundamentals and your work will pay off.

Thanks for the advice viktor. I agree i need to go back and review.....
But still,..knowing the fundamentals is relative,....I certainly know vastly more about the fundamentals relative to Test 1. I mean c'mon, I took the Practice test cold, after going through the mgmat guides how is it possible that I don't improve even slightly? When I started I couldn't tell you the first thing about divisibility, i was so rusty I couldn't even do basic fractional functions. I almost had no place to go but up. I'm under no illusions that I have to get better at the fundamentals,...but to me,...that still does not explain the COMPLETE lack of improvement.
