Thats impossible to say because each question is weighted differently. You could miss the same number of questions as someone else and you could get a 700 while he gets a 600. This is because as you see harder questions, getting them right raises your score quite a bit, but missing a difficult question won't hurt you as much.
The point is, you can't really estimate based on number missed. If you want a high score you have to be able to answer MOST questions right in under two minutes each, and those that you can't figure out you have to be able to narrow down answer choices and make smart guesses. That means you have to have a thorough understanding of the concepts, but you also need to understand the traps and tricks that the test writers use.

yeah i know that but thought may be can get some insight on min questions that should be correct to achieve something substantial. Anyway thank you for the info. Can you give me info about CAT based GMAT Test available online for free or the ones I should i buy (there are hell lot of test available)?
