Hi
It's been 1 month that I have started with GMAT prep and have taken two practice tests. 1 from GMAT prep and other one from Kaplan. I took GMAT prep before I started with my prep and scored 530 and in the Kaplan practice test I scored 540. There wasn't much change in my score. I seek help regarding how to goa bout the preparations. As I am devoting good amount of time everyday but I am not getting any result.
I have completed
OG 13 and
OG 12
Kaplan Math WorkbookCR power score bible (in process)
Which else book do you recommend and please suggest how to prepare as I need to cross 700. Also, my verbal is very weak especially critical reasoning.
Any helpful suggestions are welcome!
Thanks in advance
A score of 530 means your basics are not strong. OGs will not help you in that since they don't have much theory. OGs are typically used for practice after going through the entire material of a good test prep company.
My suggestion would be to either get the entire study material of some a good test prep company and go through it if you are planning on self study. Else, you can join a classroom course if that's how you study best. (Check out our GMAT prep products here:

Once you are conceptually strong, you will definitely see improvement in your score. Also, I can vouch for the Veritas CR book. It discusses all CR question types and after you thoroughly understand them, CR becomes quite mathematical.
