The person recommending me told me that the school asked for my weakness and he didnt mention any because he believes that people should not show their weakness when applying to college.
Will this hurt my chances getting accepted??? I'm worried now

Yes, he is very wrong, it is your flaws and moments of vulnerability that make adcom open their heart to you. Find another recommender.

It is untrue that they have to be supervisors, contrary to popular opinion. Peers and internal clients can also be great; just cite this in the optional, that he refused to answer constructive criticism question based in his principles..

OK just realized this is probably R2...that sucks. Contact the school telling them he did not address the feedback question.

Thank you for your reply. Can I contact the school regarding this? Ideally, I should not know what was in my recommendation letter.

Yes, mention that he volunteered to tell you that he skipped the feedback question, and you are concerned that your application is incomplete.

Hello cannibalspecter,

In all likelihood, this will not be a deal breaker.

However, to be a cent percent sure, you could send in an email to the Admissions Committee mentioning that your recommender informed you about him not filling in the question on weakness.

All the best!
