Hi.
I know there have been a pretty good # of threads discussing whether JD/MBA is worthwhile...
Obviously there are pros/cons, and some ppl might believe pros outweigh, or vice versa.
But i would like to have a bit more "accurate" opinion considering my personal background & interests.
So here I am...
BS in electrical engineering from top 5 engineering school MS in computer engineering from top 5 but a different school...
Internship & full time work experience in major tech companies (e.g. Microsoft, Apple, Intel...)
The reason that I am considering MBA/JD is that I would like to either work in 1) Banking division specifically covering tech industry M&A or ER or 2) Tech Company LDP.
So I guess people will easily understand why i am trying to pursue MBA but probably not the reason for JD.
The reason for JD is that in tech industry, there have been and will continue to be full of legal issues especially patent issue.
That's why I conjecture that JD or legal knowledge not only in tech/patent but also in business could help me in the long term.
Any opinion is welcome
