Question..

Just received the Notre Dame view book in the mail, along w/ a letter asking me to apply and that i'm a 'priority candidate'...

Not to sound pessimistic, but is there any merit behind this? Or is this a giant mass mailing. I'm only asking because I didn't think my profile was competitive at ND..

I didn't send me GMAT score to them either.. so not sure how they got my info...

I got it... It is as a result of your GMAT score and profile that you entered when you took the GMAT. You should have recieved stuff from a ton of schools as a result of that GMASS system.

I applied to ND too. I felt with Simon rolling out the red carpet ND should too. So I asked and I got a fee waiver. I like ND though... they seem like nice people.

Really? So you got a fee waiver at ND!!! Poor me, I had to pay >100 bucks at ND...

Well....I guess they if consider a priority candidate someone w/ a 3.0 gpa and 600 GMAT....then sign me up for ND!..=)

May it be a mass mailing. Last year I also received such a mail which was not fake. I applied for it and I was selected. Before attending the final round I’ve attended a candidate training in The McQuaig Institute which helps me a lot in achieving the target. They may consider you because of your GMAT score. Anyway apply after having a thorough enquiry. All the best :)
