Question by a member..... Choosing European colleges vs US for MBA? What are they looking for?

Let’s start with answering How do I choose my business school and what is the difference between US and EU schools?

US Schools :
Big “famous in everything” universities
~60%-70% Americans
2Y MBAs

EU Schools :
Small, tend to teach mainly MBAs
90% foreigners
1Y-1.5Y MBAs (quicker ROI)

The Ultimate Decision: Location
“Similar” opportunities.
Where do you want to live throughout university and post MBA?

What are thye looking for? similar candidates (although the EU schools might give a bigger weight to international experience)

Let me also ask and answer a question
Q: Should I apply in R2 or wait till R3
A: you should always apply as soon as you can WHEN you feel ready.
If your application is not maximized (GMAT, or Essays or else), then you should wait till it is. even if this means waiting till the next round or even waiting till next year. If everything is ready, apply as soon as you can...

well, I am not an economics or future forecaster BUT, given that MBA salaries reached in 2022 an all-time high, with a 98%++ of employment rates in the top MBA programs, I think the demand for quality alumni will not end so fast

Hi, round 2 is in 7 weeks. you can’t do anything about your profile (you are who you are, your gender, origin, career choices, university degree, volunteering, hobbies etc.)
What can you influence? 2 things. GMAT and Essays

Thanks for this question!
Naturally, you can apply on your own without using our service.
But, to be honest, most candidates use some sort of consulting services, which increases their chances, and hence, although I am not objective here, of course, you should use our service :)
And check out our acceptance statistics from the last 10 years :) https://www.aringo.com/aringo-mba-admission-statistics

Thanks for your question!
"Regular" MBA programs usually look for candidates with up to 10 or max 12 years of professional experience. luckily for you, there are some special, full-time programs that look for more experienced candidates. feel free to reach out to me (shimriw@ARINGO.com) and I can send you this list.
you can also watch my "MBA OVer 30" video here: https://youtu.be/DFVqE7WMinM
Good luck!
