Is (x 7 )(y 2 )(z 3 )>0 ?
(1) yz<0
(2) xz>0
Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient
Above question is given in free gmat practice tests. I feel the answer is B But they have given answer as C.
(x 7 )(y 2 )(z 3 ) It can be simplified as follows
(x^6*y^2*z^2) (xz)
------------------
Underlined portion is always positive.
SO if XZ>0 it is sufficient
1) is insufficient
2)is sufficient
Correct me if I am wrong
