The number will always be even, since atleast one of the three consecutive integers will be even.

But I do not understand how you've laid out the question. What do the choices A-E represent?

Hey Virat, i apologize for laying out the options poorly. This was my first time putting up a question on GMAT Club. I'll get better at it.

Here is my concern with the answer:
What if integers are 0,1,2 then? Shouldn't the answer be "Cannot be determined", since question hasn't explicitly mentioned integers are > 0
This question is from MGMAT.

Asked: If c, d and e are consecutive integers, what is cde?

Odd? Even? Cannot be determined?

Case 1: c is odd
c & e are odd, and d is even; cde = odd*even*odd = even

Case 2: c is even
c & e are even and d is odd; cde = even * odd * even = even

IMO B

Multiplying by 0 will make it 0 which is even.
