I dont really know. I would think the number would automatically update the moment the deposit is received and the students has agreed to be shown in the list. The number is still at 136.

SV, they give you 14 days to make the deposit. After that, they dont guarantee you a seat. The Pre-Term [mandatory] is Jan 27-28. Final day to submit payment with registration is January 12.

Last year they new admited students set up a yahoo group? Is there a group for Spring 07 admits?

The enrollment numbers are not correct I dont think because I am enrolled now and I agreed to put my name on the list but I do not see my name on there. I was accepted about a month ago.

hey bjbaggins....did u try getting in touch with the admissions office with regards to ur name not showing up in the database? Looks like the database hasn't updated in a while now

bayern - is the database updated? I'm itching for a yes or no (hopefully a yes!) so I can move on! Does anyone have any clue when the latest we should find out is?

The database is showing 285 students as of today... The deadline to register for classes was Friday, Jan 12, but I think they extended it. Pre-Term is next Saturday, Jan 27.
I think you should know by this week if you are in or out. The leadership forum is throwing a welcoming party this Friday for the new students. Good Luck..

It might be weird to see a reply to this thread after almost 8 months. But I had a question.

Does NYU extend the deadline for Apps usually?

I am running abt 10 days late in my app preparation and I was wondering how would that affect my chances for spring 2008.

I plan to write my GMAT before sep 25 and to apply before oct 1. It's going to be a mad rush, but I'll get it done somehow. The deadline is Sep 15th as you all know.

I expect to score 700 in GMAT and have a decent profile. If I have to write GMAT and apply before 15th, I would be compromising on both my essays and my GMAT score to a large extent and I certainly dont want to do that.

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Hi,

I applied to the Fall 2007 semester and the official deadline was May 15th 2007, but the Adcom accepted applications until JULY 31st. So, I would guess that they will probably also extend the deadline for Spring 2008 (but you never know...).
