Hi, Can anyone suggest in which round should I apply to NYU Stern?. Round 1 deadline is 16th sept and round 2 is just a month away on 16th oct. How does chances differ in both the rounds?
Is round 1 an early decision round? When are the results out for both the rounds and how much time are we given to accept is admitted and what deposit amount to be paid?

Hi there!
The first deadline for Stern is not early decision, they just have four deadlines. They do review applications on an ongoing basis, they don't wait for a deadline to pass to review applications. So you can submit at any point (i.e., if your application is ready Oct 1, go ahead and submit rather than wait for Oct 16!). With Stern and most schools, there's always a benefit to applying sooner. However, you should always consider whether your application is strongest. A rushed application submitted in Sept will usually not work out as well as a more thoughtful/stronger application submitted in Oct. Stern posts initial notification dates on their website (https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admi ... /deadlines). I don't see any info about enrollment deposits, but you could try asking a current student to see if they recall or reach out to Admissions.
