The backgrounds of the students are all over the place, so I don't think I can answer your question. However, at a quick glance, looks good to me. Maybe try positing in the Ask Accepted forum, Paul is a great help.
Must be a great feeling once u graduate. To brief about me, i am a chartered accountant from India (equivalent to CPA in US). Of late i have been doing a lot of research on US Bschools. i m more inclined towards PE post MBA. my hunch is Stern is strongly focussed towards finance and private equity. Just want to know whether my assessment is coorect. May i know what percentage of your batch got into PE post MBA and whther it was through internship there or some other way and what is the typical profile of a person who gets into PE. Thanks
I'm planning a visit to Stern this June. Does the school prefer students to visit the admissions office? I know that some schools don't track visits, but some do and weigh them in your application. Would appreciate any insights, thanks.
I'm currently on the W/L for Stern w/o interview. I know we should be updating the school with significant changes in our work and personal developments during this period. Do you have any recommendations about what should be submitted? I've read that some people will submit another recommendation letter or a revised goals essay.
I've taken a look at Stern program and seen that tech consulting firms such as Deloitte, Accenture, and Capgemini recruit there. I want to concentrate in technology and sustainability, how strong is Stern in those areas?
Looking at the program, it does not seem to be very strong but the companies I'm interested in recruit there. Would it be a good place for someone interested in tech consulting firms?
