Hey All,

I have to disagree with the OA on this question. Whoever wrote this does not understand how draw a conclusion questions work. The explanation given for why C is wrong is that it is "a restatement of a premise", and therefore doesn't go any farther. That is EXACTLY how these questions always work. There's no way D is a correct answer here. Absolutely no way.

I'll also add that wherever you got this question from, I wouldn't trust it as a source. (Gosh, I hope it's not Manhattan GMAT!).

Went with C as well for the same reasons i.e. restated.
Hope GMAT instructor is right.

Hey Again,

Just to go further, I think the person who wrote this figured that the other answer choice would have to be correct because of the use of "may be". This implies that they are saying "it's possible". And yes, technically, if all they are saying is that it's possible...sure. It's possible. But they would never write a draw a conclusion question this way. The correct answer is generally a clever restatement of a premise, not some random statement with a qualifier in the front. By that logic, the answer could also be: "It's possible that some kid some time in the history of the universe was made entirely of marshmallow foam." Sure. It's possible (and sounds delicious). But the passage doesn't say anything like that.

OA should be C.

If you try to conect the premise:
The earlier a person becomes obese, the greater the health problems and risk of death with the last line of the argument, you will find that this is what is stated in C.

Overweight is becoming a serious issues as fas as our kids are concerned, they really don't have idea what they are going through and they don't how to handle it? I'm here to say that we have to educate our kids about being overweight so that they might learn about the causes behind it and many more things. I found a non profitable organization which is publishing Medical Comic Books which are explaining different diseases to kids.
