Could someone explain how statement A is sufficient?

Of the 120 children in a certain school, 75 are currently studying Spanish, How many of the students in the school are currently studying Frence?

Total = Spanish + French - Both + Neither
120 = 75 + French - Both + Neither

(1) The number of students in the school who are studying both French and Spanish is equal to the number of students in the school that are studying neither French nor Spanish:

This implies that Both = Neither.

120 = 75 + French - Both + Both;
120 = 75 + French;
French = 45.

Sufficint.

(2) 65 of the students in the school are studying Spanish but are not studying French:

Spanish - Both = 65;
75 - Both = 65;
Both = 10.

Thus, we have:

120 = 75 + French - 10 + Neither.

Not sufficient to find French.

Answer: A.
