Area of the square = \(side^2\)
\(\sqrt{10,000}\) = 100
The side of the square = 100
The other square's side is broader by 10% = 100 + 10%(100) = 101
Area of second square = \(101^2\) = 10,201
Difference between the areas = 10,201 - 10,000 = 201

It’s not clear if it’s 1% broader in area or linear.
