I meant to all of the official guide books (general, verbal, quant) and i'm talking exactly about the overlapping you mentioned. My question is if there is a way to find the "old questions" that published in former versions of the official guide but not appear any more on the latest version (2017)? About the gmat prep - I didn't take it yet so i don't want to expose myself to those questions

You don't want to go to OG 10 as it has a substantial overlap with GMAT Prep.

Thanks for the links! But how can i spot the "old questions" that not appear any more on the latest version (2017)? Just by "hand-search"?

Search for "List of new questions in OG 2016" or "Changes in OG 2017" and find all the questions that were removed in this edition to make room for new ones or things like that. You will have to do the "reverse" lookup of what got removed vs. what's new that those discussions usually highlight.

Hi oryahalom,

Based on what you're looking for, it sounds like you're taking something of a 'volume' approach to your studies - meaning that you think that doing lots of practice questions is what will get you to your score goal. While it's certainly possible that that might work, you haven't accounted for the 'quality' of your study - and THAT could be a big issue. You haven't provided much information on your situation, so I'd like to know how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What materials have you used?
3) How have you scored on each of your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?

Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
