730 this time. Think I'm ready?

Do people find significant differentials on real test day? Just wondering.

If you've seen many repeated questions in the GMATPrep, you might score a little lower. And there is no point in trying the GMATPrep again.
But your score will be close to the GMATPrep score.

This was the 2nd official prep test, the first time I took it, last night.

The first one I've taken twice. 660 about 2 months ago then 720 two weeks ago.

660 is not bad. Compare it with the school average from past years. if it is in the upper 80% range for your target school, you just should proceed to application.

Yeah... I was looking at Harvard, Columbia, Wharton... Gonna have to retake. The only schools in the top 15 where a 660 might get me in are Cornell and UVa.

660 for Harvard and Wharton alike is not a safe bet.

Yeah, I mean I knew that, hence having to retake.

I'm just frustrated cause I'd been practicing 60-70 pts higher. I don't know if it was test anxiety so much as slightly more difficult math on the real thing and poor time management...

Test anxiety probably. But maybe repeated questions gave you a higher delusive score. This happened to me as well. The 2nd time around you'll be less anxious about the test. Try to find fresh questions rather than do repeated ones in GMATPrep again. The repetition does not help much.

I gotcha, but the 2nd OG exam I took completely fresh. I took 2 kaplans, I took the first OG twice, but the 2nd OG one time only. That's when I thought I was money. Had to have been a bit of anxiety/the actual test is still a bit more difficult.
