The UCLA loss in the first round of the Pac-10 may be a blessing in disguise. They dropped to a 2 seed and got two extra days of practice. Conveniently, as a 2 seed in the west UCLA plays all their games in Sacramento/San Jose until the final 4. Pencil these boys into your bracket!

Yeah, everyone is complaining that (once again) UCLA has all the advantages of a top seed even though they are not the #1 in their region. I wonder how Kansas feels about the possible match-up in San Jose.
The problem is that there are so few top teams out west that UCLA (and Stanford & Arizona at times) are treated like top seeds anytime they are seeded in the top 4. Great for them, but sucks for anyone that gets shipped out to play them.
I don't buy the extra rest argument though, unless there are injury issues. A 4-5 day rest is more than enough for kids that are used to playing twice per week.

I'm down, I think scoring should increase further into the rounds:
eg.
1st Round: 1 Point
2nd Round: 2 Points
3rd Round: 3 Points
4rth Round: 4 Points
Semi-Finals: 5 Points
Finals: 10 Points.
