Hello Everyone,
I am planning to apply in R2 for which most of the schools have the deadline near 4th January, 2022. Can you please let me know till when can I give my GMAT attempt (Is 17th December the last safe date to give it)? I am not sure if schools require an official report which takes time to generate/ AWA score to be mentioned in the application.

As long as you take the exam by the school's deadline you SHOULD be fine. Each school has its own policies so you might want to double check, but most programs will count the exam if taken by the application deadline. It takes the schools a little time to get organized and review applications, so there's a buffer in place for people such as yourself who won't have the score in the day after the application window has closed.
Also, December 17th also seems early enough where this shouldn't be an issue. There are people who take the exam in early January and still find success in R2, so have faith.
