Hi ajaynit,
It's not clear exactly what you mean when you refer to the OG10 and/or OG11 as the 'best'
OG books; either one would likely be okay for you to work with (as far as the overall content of the Exam is concerned) - but they're both rather old at this point (and were produced for the prior version of the GMAT - back when the Quant and Verbal sections were longer). A more recent
OG will have phased-out much of the outdated content and the up-to-date versions also include access to online resources and tools that the older books do not grant access to. It's also worth noting that while the
OG books are great sources for practice questions, they're not designed to teach you Tactics, patterns or the little 'secrets' behind the GMAT - for those, you'll need Course-oriented materials.
I read your other post asking about RC, so I'm going to repost my message from that thread here:
Many GMATers find some aspect of the Verbal section to be challenging - so you're not alone. The Verbal section is as consistent and predictable as the Quant section is, but Verbal questions have no 'safety net' - meaning that if you make a little mistake or miss a vital piece of information, then you will convince yourself that one of the wrong answers is correct (and not realize it). With RC, you don't have to understand every word that you read, but 'skimming' is often not the best way to approach a prompt (as you'll end up having to reread the prompt over and over if you did not properly recognize what you were reading the first time). Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
Goals:
4) What is your overall goal score?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
