hey all..
Wanted to share my experience with OG..
i just got the OG 11th ed.. I had done Princeon and Kaplan till now.. I started reading each chapter... Did the diagonostic test... Got excellent in PS and DS. But as soon as I started the Verbal Section in Diagnostic Test, I realised this was indeed harder than PR. PS and DS were also way way harder than PR or Kaplan. Some of the questions inside the PS seem to be way harder in OG than the ones in PR..
Even the CR and SC were harder...
Have the syllabus changed after Pearson took over? It looks like the OG is not similar to PR or Kaplan much.. And now I am so thankful to this forum, without which I would have never got the OG.
Well anyways I have begun the OG now.. hope to complete in 2 weeks.. and then come back to the forums... I don't get time to do both forums and other materials at once... since i spend only 2 hours a day after work.. it gets harder...
anywayss.... here was my experience with OG till now.. Looks like the GMAT is a lot harder than what I have been practicing till now in Kaplan and PR...
Anyways till now I have done two full tests:
Kaplan Practice Test from book: 620
Princeton CAT 1 from CD: 660
Somehow now I feel these scores are not good enough because after started doing OG yesterday, I realised OG's method of SC and CR is WAY WAY WAY DIFFERENT TO KAPLAN OR PR... Now I am confused whether reading PR or Kaplan was any use................... Should I just do the tests ahead anyway for more practice? How representative they are of the average schore I might get?
Any thoughts?????????
