Hi Mia,

My understanding is also that OG will be the closest to the real thing. If you are crusing through the OG questions, then you should be on course for a very good score.
I would recommend that you take the GMAT Prep CAT practice test, and see how you get on there.

By the way, whats your view on the Manhattan GMAT prep books ? Any good ?

Thanks,
II

Then i tried to do the last 50 DS problems. It took me close to 1.15 hrs but i got 4 wrong there.

If you're getting 90% plus of the last 50 questions right, then you're in great shape for the real GMAT. The first 150 questions or so are very easy, and you're most likely not going to see more than 1 or 2 of these on test day if you're doing well.

Thanks a lot.
I will try to do the GMATPrep. I was actually planning to do the tests a week before the exam.Unfortunately i do not have access to the MGMAT online.
MGMAT books are okay. Nothing new but structured. SC book is really helpful. Will try to post here after i try the GMATPrep.

Remember you can always retake GMATPrep CATS 1 & 2 without too many overlapping questions.

Good luck

Hi,

I am new to GMAT preperation. Planning to take exam in first week of march.
I have started with Kaplan Gmat prep book and Manhatten GMAT SC,CR and RC
I am also planning to buy the official guide.

Is that enough material? what other resources are useful

Thanks
-Amit
