You are right. Time is important. I have kept to OG's recommendations (1.5-1.75 for RC & CR and so on). Practice test is my next step.

Are you saying that 7xx scorer gets 10-20% incorrect in the last 1/3rd of OG practice questions? I am just trying to correlate performance in OG with performance in the actual test (assuming that the time limits are observed while solving practice questions).

I think you're divulging too deep into this idea. The key here is to note that as you progress on OG problems, the problems will become more difficult. If you are able to solve the problem is about the same amount of time and with the same consistency from problem 1 to problem 150, then you are doing very well on that topic (verbal or quant or both)

You should use practice tests to gauge your progress. Working against a fixed time table always makes the situation much more difficult.
