Hi Farhan,

First congrats on your score. I wish you the very best on your applications.

I presume, I had "seen" you during the live sessions of e-gmat.

Accordingly, I had a small query.

Did you try and practice any timing strategy during your mocks or in the actual GMAT?

If so, it would be great if you can share.

I have my GMAT in a couple of weeks and have been scoring quite similar to you in my mocks so far.

Regards

Argha

Hi Argha,
Thank you for your wishes. Regarding timing strategies i followed time constraint while solving each and every problem even when i was just doing practice problems. Specifically for mocks i gave 25-30 mins to initial 10 questions for quant. I know its a lot but thats how i achieved 45 plus in most of my mocks. But remember u need to get into the mindframe of guessing smartly if u use this strategy. I remember during GMAt i had just 7 mins for last 5 questions and i guessed alternate questions. For verbal honestly timing is important if you aren't great in SC. I didnt develop a strategy for verbal, i guess i lost there. Since i was finishing most of my mocks before time for verbal, i kinda let it go which didnt help on the GDay.

Good luck with your gmat.
