My apologies if this has been asked... or if this isn't the right place to ask this...

Is it ok to talk about applying for online MBAs here (in their respected school thread) or is this area just for FT/PT applicants? I know that online programs sometimes have a bad stigma about them (or maybe certain ones)..

I would suggest the UNC online program, but there are a few others out there that are worth while. I would try to make sure that whichever program you go with has a brick and mortar campus to back it up.

Thoughts from anyone else?

One other thing to consider is your expectations of career services. If you plan to change companies, or careers for that matter, make sure you will have adequate support from the school, and they have a track record of placement.

Of course it's okay to post here. :-D

Just be aware that most of the Calling threads are oriented for FT applicants, so almost all of the discussion and updates are for that particular stream.

For some schools, notably Kellogg and Booth, there might be a Calling PT thread that is started up, so that might be a better option. Although there are different flavors of PT programs, essentially it's all applicants who are looking at earning a MBA while employed, so you might get a better conversation there.
